As a blend of wines from the Steiner and Steiger vineyards, this wine shows deep ruby and crimson tones when poured into the glass. A youthful aroma of red and black fleshy fruit, elegantly spiced with notes from oak barrel ageing. It is a full wine with a good drinkability, restrained in tannins but complex, with a thick fleshy feel and concentrated aromatics. Its pleasant and lively acidity almost makes the palate explode with notes of cherries, plums and blackcurrant fruit, which are rich and exciting. Aftertaste: a well-balanced use of barrels gives a harmonious finish to a Blue Frankish with typical varietal characteristics.
