A very popular grape variety in the world, this wine seems to be doing well in the Sopron Wine Region, too. The appearance is a mirror clear, medium intense ruby colour with purple violet and pomegranate tones around the edges. The aroma is almost immediately dominated by rich red fleshy fruit, mostly in the form of amarena cherries, juicy raspberries and cherries. The notes from 12 months of oak ageing add a nice spice to the aromatic tic of the wine, but remain elegantly in the background, complementing its complex structure. A medium-bodied wine with a relatively lower alcohol content, a pleasantly refreshing acidity and integrated, ripe and slightly more restrained tannins. On the palate, a lush fruitiness accompanies you almost throughout, carrying the flavours so typical of its species. This organically grown grape is an effective expression of the unique character of the area and the grape variety.
