As a very young plantation from the Steiger vineyard, this is a fully organic Furmint from the mica shale. Its bright, intense straw yellow colour, sluggish movement and beautiful glycerine ring suggest a rich wine. It really shows itself after adequate aeration, with ripe white fleshy fruit, delicate oak aromas and honeyed floral notes. On the palate, a firm acidity ridge greets you, enriched by the roasty, tart notes from the barrel. The minerality of the taste also enhances its masculine character, with an integrated fruitiness that finds its way through. A big-bodied wine with a long ageing potential, concentrated and long aromatics.
