What else could be the flag of a Sopron winery than Blue Frankish? It’s our favourite red variety, which is why we take great care of both our vineyards and the wines in the cellar. It’s our flagship wine, so only the best raw materials should go into this batch. It’s a real batch from Sopron. Virgin fruit from the Gauer vineyard planted in 2016. Fermented in open vats with two to three racks a day for 15 days. It was then matured on fine lees for 14 months in second and third fill French oak barrels. Vinified before bottling, then lightly filtered and bottled at low sulphur, 645 bottles were produced.
