Another organic wine made from newly planted grapes. This wine is a deep ruby red with a bright crimson tinge around the edges. After a short aeration, it suddenly reveals cappuccino, cocoa powder, then ripe black forest fruits and peppery spice notes. The taste is thick, fleshy and concentrated, enriched by aromas of rum cherry, cranberry, currant, cassis and premium dark chocolate. The distinctive characteristics of 1-year barrel ageing quickly form a harmony with the original flavours and defining components of the grape. Its alcohol remains nicely in the background, but sufficiently rounds out its excellent structure and enhances the accentuation of its flavour notes. A pleasantly soft and substantial finish is dominated by ripe fruitiness, joined by soft tannins.
