Zachár Chardonnay grapes are grown in a picturesque setting on the always sunny Csilla Hill, the highest point of the village of Hidegség, on the shores of Lake Fertő. The grapes are gently pressed, the must is then transferred to 225 litre wooden barrels and, after fermentation, aged on fine lees for 18 months.
