Sterlik Cellar
The history of Sterlik Cellar goes back 40 years. The 10 hectares of vineyards are spread over the vineyards of Fertőrákos, Balf and Harka.
Since 2008 the main profile of Sterlik Cellar is rosé. In addition to the four types of rosé, a special blend is also produced, called “Pirkadat” (Sunrise), which is the main wine of the winery. In addition to the white and rosé wines, which require reductive technology, the red wines are light, fruity, fresh and varietal. They are made using the traditional method of racking and barrel ageing. A special mention should be made of the Blue Frankish called “Éjszaka” (Night), which refers to the time of harvest.
Sterlik Cellar sells the majority of its wines in bottles. The aim is to increase the proportion of bottled wines. The winery offers their wines on site at their own suburban house. They welcome wine tastings for groups of up to 16 people, by appointment. Their wines are also available at local wineries and restaurants. They are usually present at festivals and wine events in Sopron.
